Kind of weird to think that Hoopa is one of the few pokemon that has actual consideration built in for mix and match moveset combos.

Well. I mistimed shit, I guess I won't be getting the glaceon pass after all. I was thinking about getting the Suicine pass, but after seeing what's in it, I don't believe it provides enough value to justify getting it.

They even reduced the total amount of LP in the paid track of the battle pass by 400. I'm too lazy to completely redo the calculations from a couple threads ago, but that reductions means that even paid players are now getting less value than it was possible to get for free with aeos coins (the previous pass gave ~2% more value than was possible with coins given license cost increases, and with the reduction of 400 LP it now has negative value). That means even paid players have to at least partially complete multiple battle passes to unlock a mon in the 1960 tier. The change is now officially worse than aeos coins for everyone.

It's genuinely astounding, the depths of their greed and/or incompetence. This really makes me consider with more seriousness the idea that they're gearing up for EOS.

You used to be able to buy mons for coins after they were gems only for a week, and long before THAT you could buy mons for coins as soon as they came out, no waiting needed.

I was acrtually just in a match where the other team was just vastly more skilled. It was "close" at Kyogre time but we were basically getting the brakes beat off us in every encounter. I ended the match with the "Most KOs" award with 2 KOs. But we had a Dodrio whose only contribution to the entire game (I legit think he went 0/0 K/A) was to snipe Kyogre and we won. The problem with Unite has always been the grind. The grind is fucking horrible and my conspiracy theory is that the recent change was put it to stop people from hoarding. Most people buy the heroes/mons they want and stick with them, only buying when another one interest them. However when that gap happens those people end up amassing a large amount of freemium money, meaning that when the new hero they are interested in comes out they can buy it right off the bat with no incentive to spend real money. This is also true for the more dedicated players who do spend a lot of real money, only to hit moments where they have a ton of feeemium money that they don't know what to do with and then end up spending it on new heroes while never actually running out.
