>>59007306I'll write a uick rundown on how it works. To RNG Manip you have to know your SID (and your TID which is the one on your trainer card). The game generates for each instance of frame and seed for the game a PID which corresponds to a specific Pokémon with predetermined IVs/Nature/Skill and Shininess. Now, in normal RNG Manipulation you just search for the closer Shiny Target you have and RNG Manip off that, hitting 2 timers, one for the Seed and one for the ingame Frame (final press where you receive the pokémon in case of starters/gifts or trigger the battle with sweet scent or against snorlax etc). Teachy TV is a very useful item that allows you to hit Shiny that are further away in frame that would take tens of minutes or even hours to hit if you didn't use it. This is because when Teachy TV is open in FRLG, the game frames are sped up x313 allowing you to hit the target sooner. This translates in hitting 3 total timers (one additional to the standard way). One for hitting the seed, one that you use to measure how much exact frames you pass in game with the Teachy TV opened and one for the final press. There should be plenty of guides online but this is the gist of it. By adding this extra timer with the Teachy TV you can have way more targets usually with way better IVs too since generally the best pokémons are generated the more time you spend in the game. It is an additional layer of difficulty of course since you have an additional perfect frame to hit but it's worth it.

Beat lg e4 on switch today, just used blastoise while trying to level up a dragonair i caught in the safari zone. Leveling up the dratini line in this game is pure torture, even with a lucky egg I also got from the safari zone. Never doing this again in any gen that has one mon exp share. At isle 5 meadows about to sweep rocket with a lv67 blastoise spamming surf. Plan on setting up mail glitch and ACE shenanigans once finished with post game quests

I'm on Pokemon Mansion and I gotta say the steam has dried up (or whatever they say). Part of it is that I beat Fire Red for the first time since childhood in late December/early January, but I think the real issue is the lack of connectivity my physical version has. I have the games and means to send my Kanto Pokemon to Hoenn, Orre, or even Generation 4, which allows me to make some pretty long term projects. With this port I'm not too sure what I'll have to look forward to after beating the game.

Am I able to pass on tutor moves and TMs if the parents are different species? For example, if I teach a male Charizard Earthquake and Rock Slide and breed him with a female Marowak, will the Cubone still inherit those moves?
