It clearly doesn't work. Honestly, just make it that packs opened with gold give you 50 pack points. And normal packs should give 10 instead of 5. Then people would actually consider spending money instead of just opening 5 alts (which they are totally fine with for some reason).

Having an alt is pretty much necessary if you don't have somebody to consistently Share you dupe EXs. That's an income of 720 extra Shinedust a day that you're missing out on otherwise. Otherwise, just pull packs. Dupe EXs, 1*s, and Diamond 3s are all helpful. And part of the value proposition of Deluxe Packs was that they would always give you at least 800 Shinedust unless you didn't already own the guaranteed EX you got.
