Finally got around to getting master ball because I'm old and lazy and I've been playing a lot of Pokemon Go.Easy rank up tip: try to play when normal people would play. Little Timmy or Joe the Plumber are not playing at 3 a.m., you're going to get matched with John who has been playing VGC since gen 8 and get raped by some sets you never imagined. Try to play around 6 p.m. to 11 if you're just trying to ladder.
Went on a crazy win streak and blasted my way to Masters in singles. Now I just need to grind my way through Ultra in doubles and I can chill until next season.
Is Mega Scizor really the best bug sweeper in the game? I don't know if I can hit a lot of Pokemon with Bullet Punch and Bug Bite.

I like vgc so far but i feel like there's too many useless pokemon or ones that are just underpowered. Maybe a hot take, but I think there should be a Pixilate physical fairy. Pixilate is kind of just "pointless" on a special attacker, because they already get a spread move and good fairy moves. Yeah, Hyper Voice gets stronger and all, but it's absolutely no necessary. Meanwhile Physical only has Play Rough and Spirit Break, one of which is a unique move to Grimmsnarl. They could be using stuff like Double-Edge as a fucking fairy nuke. Naturally, give it some kind of 4x weakness to compensate for having access to ridiculously strong fairy moves at that point.

But of course, you can likely OHKO Kingambit without losing it turn 1 to most of the most common mons in the format.
