>tumblr globohomo artcringe
got a capture card to stream to some discord friends, gonna try it out to hunt a shiny mouse since I can fuck with the saturation and everything now
Sitting on so much extra VP I might as well change from the default pre/post battle pose and throwing style at this point
>>59258473I've got every single mega stone + held item and still have more vp than I know what to do with. No clue how they will monetize the mobile version when the main resource is so abundant.
>>59258478Understood, new items in later patches will be price adjusted to 10k VP
>>59258478Ideally it's just clothes, poses, and music exclusive to premium purchases. Maybe the goal is to be a loss leader while they make more exclusive mons like M-Floette where theyre legal but you need the actual game or beg for one on Home.

>>59258314Context
I hope the next update gives us more cosmetics.
>>59258511more hats for one, what the fuck is that ugly fish knot bandana thing, give us some unique stuff like straw hats and visor capsmeanwhile the headband menu's icon has cat ears and all we have right now are featureless hairbands
>>59258309>Jacinthe tard tries to make his shitfu relevantKys
>he's still seething
Someone go ahead and make a non shit thread
>>59258473Use it to make a shitpost team
>>59258557Turns out box space is the real resource problem not VPI've been playing only singles so far and I've no space to fit in builds for doubles
How to not lose due to rng when all the 'reliable' moves always fall short?
>>59258560Yeah I got strongarmed into buying the starter pack at least for the space, and even that isn't much and the 3 team limit is annoying. The pokemon company are masters at putting on arbitrary restrictions to things and then making you pay to remove them
Jesus Christ, can you stop spamming this fucking bitch?
>>59258581Spam? Like me spamming every thread THUNDERSTRUCK INCEROAR TRADE IT TO MEEEEEE RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>59258573I'm very close to releasing the promo Cherish Ball Machamp and the starter Drampa. Shouldn't even hesitate since I don't really like nor plan to use either at the moment but I'm a bit of a hoarder and these 2 are more "special" than a random recruit from the ranch
How to stop missing my Fire Blasts from missing when Sun isn't up and I can't set it up in any way
Best team that utilizes Vivillon and always uses it regardless?
>>59258588I mean like, you always send it out, no matter what, even in a bad situation
I want Jacinthe to subjugate Tatora
Next update will fix Tatora's face
>>59258588Choice scarf sleep powder
I think we're ready for Pokemon to have 5 moves
>>59258630I feel like it should be a held item. That way you at least have to give something up.
>>59258634Sounds more like a generational gimmick where only one designated mon on a team can have the privilege. I've also always liked the idea of every Pokemon having a built-in predetermined move based on species in addition to the usual 4 move slots, like Scizors would have Bullet Punch and Pikachu has Volt Tackle. Some would unfortunately have less useful moves out of flavor like Dugtrio with Dig but it's still a 5th move they wouldn't have otherwise
>>59258647The anime also backs up that they can learn more than 4, so it would'nt be too unprecedented
>>59258584Why don’t you just make a general for her? Oh wait, you already did, and it failed hilariously. Her threads stay alive for a whole month and still barely hit 300 replies, mostly thanks to nonstop necrobumps, ugly and failed character.
>>59258612I was thinking Focus Sash seeing as I'll be using it in Singles
I need a hero
>>59258744Gastadon my beloved. No one does it like him
>replaced T-wave with Helping Hand on Gyarados>changed my Sinistcha from Modest to Calm >Sinistcha absolutely demolished a MegaMom and Basculegion on it's ownI should've protected with Excadrill and let Sandstorm KO the cottonball, but I won since the dillweed took a risk on trying to take out Gyarados af -2 on his Garchomp instead of finishing off my MegaTtar.
I spent an hour to rank up into great ball in singles, even though I'm nearly positive they won't double up on rewards, just in case they actually do. Singles is much more boring than doubles, but is also easier to autopilot.
>>59258825You will get VP separately for each ladder I'm pretty sure. That's not enough motivation for me to touch singles though.
>>592588253v3 is boring as fuck.I want 6v6 to actually have fun.

>>59258846>300 BP Last Respects>fun
>>59258857Yes.
Green needs to be added to masters
>>59258309>fear the fairiesFunny I've barely got to use Mega Floette because I've ran into teams that can counter it.
>>59258309Green would fuck up the fairies and then go battle something else>uses headbutt to stunlock for 2 turns and finishes off with a killshot move
>>59258821Thinking of maybe going the BURASTO BAAN merchant next Season as my second Mega instead of Ttar with a pocket Sableye to provide Screens and Speed Control.
>>59258904>Green uses brick break and completely smashes through screens
>>59258905*psychic fang
>Opposing Dragapult used beat up into opposing Archaludon>Sableye used encore, Dragapult hits ally Arch for +4>Opposing Archaludon used electro shot, it's charging power>Sableye used disable>Opposing Archaludon used protect>Sableye used encore>Ally Venusaur used protect>Opposing Aerodactyl used dual wing beat>Sableye used disable>Opposing Archaludon used protect, but it failed...>Opposing Aerodactyl's dual wingbeat is disabled>Venusaur used Earth Power
spent all my vp rolling again, found a shiny hatterene
>>59258961What's the spread on your gremlin?
Anyone use mega Medicham? How good is he?
>>59259045Dog shit
We already have Dynamax adjusting Pokemon HP on activation and deactivation so it's not like they can't apply the same behavior to Mega Pokemon having higher HP than their base form. Would be more useful than dumping extra stats into the unused Atk/SpA stat and I'm sure they'd go all in and make one or two Megas suddenly gain 60 base HP
Mega Venusaur is such a wall I love him. Whoever gave this thing Thick Fat as an ability is a genius.
>>59259107>tfw my promo to Master Ball Rank 4 was me critting one with Rotom-H Overheat at after being in the negativesFeels good, mane
>Blastoise + Giraffe leadHow the fuck do you beat this? Just accept Trick Room is going up and double the Blastoise to lower Water Spout damage?
>>59259042Same as from CybertronVGC's Arch and Sableye team.
>>59259127It's possible to do that. Other things include:Non prankster tauntTinkaton fake outClick your own trick roomImprison trick roomSwitch in something slower (not that difficult, Blastoise isn't THAT slow)Hit sunny dayFeint and electric attack into the Blastoise spotSome of these things are gimmicky, others are not.
>>59259133Actually I think Feint won't work due to Armor Tail. I guess there's Infiltrator mons.
>>59258460can I be your friend too
>>59259137Yes <3
>>59259127Lead with agressive mons that can lay down as much damage as possible before a spout goes off or mons that resist water than can double up the giraffe before it trick rooms
LA Regionals Day 2 will be starting in about an hour from this post.Watch Live:https://www.youtube.com/live/RVqUnDVNgo0Live Standings:https://www.pokedata.ovh/standingsVGC/0000182/masters/There's a few Groudons that made it, Justin Tang has been a believer for almost all of Reg I the first and second time. Better than the fucking Caly/Zama teams. If you missed it, a Bo3 tournament in Malaysia was played. Catch the replays here and you can skip the exceuciating 1hr+ long down times between games. These tournaments matter a lot for the local players because realistically that's their only option to get to Worlds.Day 1https://www.youtube.com/live/NBlMDVec95QDay 2https://www.youtube.com/live/kvzXAZjlgtg
>>59259133I've run into this team multiple times now, and the best answer I can come up with is a taunting ghost type. The things the other guys are suggesting don't always work well because the blastoise will always fake out the mon that is going to be stopping trick room going up, so then it starts turning into 50/50s instead of clean answers.
>>59259133I lead Tsareena + Tard Y.ZardY overheats into Farig which almost always KOs unless it's insanely bulky, Tseena trop kicks stoise to ensure Water Spout does very little.
>>59259144>Legendarys AllowedWhy the fuck would they ever allow this for comp play? Half the teams look exactly the same.
>>59259144Look at the cunt who brought a Toxapex lol...
>>59259144I almost feel bad for missing Scarlet and Violet competitive since I only got back into Pokemon like a month ago. Tera seems like an interesting gimmick, is it more fun or annoying?
Finally made it in
>>59259197Damn I never knew Rhyperior was in the game.
>>59259197Congrats anon, how well did Rhyperior do?
>>59259196It's different in that it totally changes the way you play the game.Your first order of business is usually to pressure tera out of your opponent to remove the uncertainty, whether some people thought about the game that way or not. Open team sheets made it easier to position your mons to do this, but it was an extra layer of reads on top of the straight forward VGC play.Regulation MA plays much more like Pokemon always has. Dynamax was also very gambling heavy, but even worse because it was so incredibly OP.I liked tera, but it's nice to play Pokemon where I don't have to make an extra read on top of just playing.
>>59259172Double restricted formats are fun if you have a pet legendary you want to try and make work.
>>59259217Why was Dynamax gambling? The effects were all guaranteed (and snowballed into being unstoppable always). You mean just trying to guess which one will Dynamax?
>>59259222That's part of it and when the mechanic was used in battle mattered too. Tera was much less razor's edge than Dynamax was.
>>59259216Rhyperior actually pulled his weight when I brought him, He tanked a drain punch by a Mega Crab, and a drain punch from a Mega Golurk in a different battle. Honestly when AV comes out I may give to him.
How does my opponent hit 6/6 matcha gotcha and getting burn on first try while i miss both targets twice on 2 rock slides.
I hadn't seen a milotic in a week and a half, then I started using intimidate + snarl and fought 6 in a row.
>>59259226Really disagree, the fact Dynamax was guaranteed extra bulk vs Tera “extra bulk only if you predict correctly” and that Dyna locked you out of support moves made Tera a lot more volatile and “gambling”
>>59259233Same way you did but your brain doesn't remember being lucky as much as it does being unlucky.
>>59259222Dynamax favoured the player who dynamaxed 2nd and whoever wasted the most turns of the enemies dynamax. Games often turned into a guessing game of who is gonna dynamax first
>>59259322>the game often comes down to who makes the best use of their Dynamax>”iT’s JuST gUEsSiNG
>>59259337Yeah it was a game of chicken and protects.Dynamax was so strong that if you predicted the dynamax with a good defensive play you won, but if they held their dynamax and you did that you were suddenly at a huge disadvantageWas it pure rng? No duh, it was just more rng than other generation gimmicks
>>59259359That’s less RNG than Tera because you can make much more reasonable assumptions about when, what, and why they’re going to Dynamax due to the restrictions on it.>I can pressure a Tera but not Dynamax because uhhhhhhh
