Shuckle is good cause it's low cost and tanky. It does its job well. Just be an annoying wall early game, the damage output is honestly just an optional funny. It hardly matters if you flip all tails on it. The point of it is to give bu you time and then be hurled at your opponent's face when it's done. There aren't many grass types that can really fill its role as well. Most tanky grass types don't get tanky until late game.

I think this might be the most redundant card in the game. Not only is it bad, it takes up more deck space than Mega Lucario and needs a requirement to do its 150. Also this requirement is awful too, mega scizor is a stage 1 and it gets to do 150 for the same amount of energy. Mega Lucario can not only attack for 2 and requires less deck space, you will always do 140 once you get 3 energy. Dena fucking sucks at making pokemon outside of the standard 2 energy attackers.

I'll win 4 in a row and then get a game where all my Oaks, Pokeballs, Copycats, and evolutions are at the bottom of my deck. I was surprised when the AI started Jirachi against my Greninja Dececuleye EX deck, and despite me having a full bench + energy placed on my active Oricorio, it prioritized sniping Rowlet. Guess the AI reads what your EX mon in your deck is now and prioritizes accordingly. Thought it may just be random flukle but it happened again like 2 matches after. I thought I'd cheese the AI by putting energy on a someone I don't mind being sniped but the AI knows better now. Which is scary in conjunction with it always having the right cards and making sure all your cards are at the bottom of your damn deck.

It's definitely a meme, yea. Sableeye isn't even a good partner for it, that card just sucks ass and has 0 point of ever being used even in a "give me a bunch of energies" brew. The random nature of it is way too unreliable compared to just running stable energy batteries like Giratina and Zeroroa. I had a brew with Ho-oh that was okay, but it took the stars aligning for it to ever properly work. It was funny when it did though.

It's even better now with the new field. Greninja EX is really good for swapping between your attackers so they can heal up in the backline. It's really fucking tanky.

Hydrageon is never dying. New Absol with stopwatch gives much needed early game pressure, old sniping Absol can pick out targets for Cyrus. Non-EX deck forces all 3 points to be collected, but it's so aggressive.
