First /vr/ game you ever played
>>
>>10860597
Star wars arcade
It was not retro yet
>>
Either Mario Bros or Pro Wrestling for the NES. That was my first console. Played a ton of Mario and Pinball and Spy Hunter. First game I beat was like ... Golden Sun I think so not for a long time later.

Dig Dug and Galaga, the only two arcade machines in my aunt & uncle's trailer park (where I spent a couple weeks in the summer with my brother). Only older people lived there and the building the arcade machines were in had nothing else in it, so my brother and I just stayed in there for hours with nobody else bothering us playing the FREE credit arcade cabinets.
>>
I was alive during retro times so my first one was retro by default.
>>
>>10860597
probably math/reading blaster or carmen sandiego
>>
My brother and I recieved our SNES for Christmas in 1993 from our aunt. Don't have any photos of the box, but pretty sure it was the one that came packaged with both Mario All-Stars and World, so either of those games were my first.

Never had a console. Still my favourite game to this day.
>>

I was only 2 at the time, but I soon learned the joys of gaming. Our aunt bought us Mega Man X the next Christmas and continued to get us SNES games for the next couple of years. She was awesome!

"Spectre Challenger", a demo for either the 1991 game Spectre or its sequel Spectre Vr. Came with the Macintosh Performa 550 that my dad bought in 1994.

Mario Bros (not Super) on an arcade unit at a Fred Meyer in Boise. Blew my little 5 year old brain.
>>
It was one of three games, Super Mario Bros, Sesame Street Hide and Seek and Sesame Street Countdown. Probably one of the Sesame Street games.

We had several games on our Amiga. Pic related is Elf. We also had Amnios, Arctic Fox, Winter Olympics, and R-Type 2. Not sure which one I literally played first. I was too young to even know their titles, I looked them up when I was like 20 years older.

Literally made my parents hook the Atari 2600 up for me before I was 4, and I actually remember it believe it or not.

this, along with never being able to get the sensors for duck hunt to work properly so i'd just run around the house shooting the gun
>american moment

I want to say... Mario 2 on a Playchoice-10? My grandparents were gamblers, so they took me to a LOT of casinos when I was like two or three. The oldest one I remember clearly was a casino we'd always stop at a few hours before we got the Vegas that had a small arcade up front. I remember it had a Playchoice-10, Title Fight, Centipede, and some variation of pic related. I remember you could unscrew the ball, but never had the courage to take it all the way off. After a few years, it was gone.

Now that I'm older, I assume that casino was either in Searchlight NV or Bullhead city, since I can't find anywhere else that really matches the route. I assume it's probably long gone, either way.

And Dig Dug II

I was born in 1990 but my first console was a NES. My aunt bought a shitton of peripherals and a NES secondhand. The lightgun worked and I have a lot of nostalfia for it but my cousins and I used to run around the house with a goddamn power glove with the cord wrapped around our arms. It was fucking awesome

Possibly the Star Wars game for Atari 2600 wherein you fly past those giant walkers and I guess fight them. If not that, then probably some other 2600 game.

Super Mario Bros when I was 2 or 3 years old. Back then, we had family game nights where everyone (5 of us in total) gathered around the NES to play games. My mom was the first in the family to beat both Mario and Zelda, my dad was unmatched at Tetris.

Do yourself a favor and drop the prepubescent mannerisms, they are not endearing here.

>>10865282
