retro games that are borderline unplayable because of the slowdowns
>turn on overclocking>turn off sprite limit>???>Profit!!!Emulation wins again
>>10862315Funnily enough it's also almost unplayable if you remove the slowdowns with an emulator.
>>10862363I've beaten it and it's totally playable, just... unfinished. The sidescrolling stages are kinda shit, the top down stages are fine though
>the slowdownsdo u kno de wey?
>>10862315Kirby Adventure
love this game. Its not traditional contra but its still a fun run n gun
bamp
>>10863080Me too. Reminds me of nes metal slug more then contra.
Mega Man 3
>>10864252its KIND of metal slug, kind of Ikari warriors/Commando?
>>10862315going back to trying Driver on ps1 and Banjo Kazooie, the framerate jumps all over the place. Sega Rally 2 is incredibly irritating because its almost really good.Twin Cobra on nes is really slow too.>>10862335There is now a new hardware fpga mod to get rid of the sprite limit.
>>10862315That and the prequel to River City Ransom are the best examples.
>>10862315Duke Nukem Zero Hour with the Expansion Pak turned on
>>10862315Metal Slug 2. I'm glad overclocking is possible now.
>>10862315skill issue
>>10862315This game has sooo much potential too
Ikari Warrios (NES)
>>10862315This game is fine. Took me like 2 hours to beat
super back to the future 2
Contra Force is the most expensive game I've ever seen at a retro video game store. A place had it for $600 CIB. You know, I don't have that game in my collection and probably would pay a lot of money for it... I'd probably go as high as $150 for the game itself. I paid over $100 for Ninja Gaiden 3 for the NES. Totally worth it.
>>10862315Double Dragon arcade.
>>10862315Fuck you, Contra Force is awesome. Was one of the first games I ever emulated. Took me years to find it organically and I got a really nice condition cart-only for $20.I think it's a based game.
