Unironically one of the greatest handheld games of the 90s. Pure excellent action platforming with a varied move set and fun levels to blitz through. Any fan of the Wario Land games would love it.

I bought a used Game Gear and an Everdrive recently to replace the Game Gear and games I lost because of a house fire.The sad thing is now that I'm got access to the entire Game Gear and Master System library, there isn't a whole lot actually worth playing on either (and the romhack scene is virtually nonexistent for both).Can anybody reccommend worthwhile GG/SMS games outside of the Sonic, Power Rangers and Disney games?

>>10873967Yeah my GG Everdrive is also my least used by far. Check out Sylvan Tale, Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy and Streets of Rage 2. Three of those are just 8-bit demakes of Genesis games I know, but you gotta make do.

The game is too short and easy. The momentum transfer from jumping after dashing is the best part. All the dashing through walls and wall climbing is more Pizza Tower than Wario Land. Those games have exploration and things to find in order to beat the game. In this you just slingshot yourself across the map until you reach the end, fight a few simple bosses and then the game is over. It lacks substance but for a licensed game it's pretty good.
