I don't think so but the music is fucking awesome. For Sonic alone I think city escape is probably the most memorable since he jumps out of a plane among several other over the top antics to evade militarized police

This layout is instantly recognizable to most gamers, and if the level continues to resemble 1-1 then a smaller portion of those gamers will try to hit the hidden 1-Up block after the pipes.

I will give props to E1M1 of Doom. Combined with the famous music it is the very first experience of most people playing Doom, and it makes them want to run around and kill demons rather than skulk about in fear of running into them. Most PC gamers can distinctly recall this moment being pivotal in their enjoyment of gaming.
