Also this is actually really notable for being essentially a romhack that is well made. They could have easily just replaced a few sprites and called it good but they put a lot of effort into this. I am going to play it right now.

>>10884582I had no idea. I love the Pocky and Rocky games. It is just like how I found out the Shaman King games uses the same engine and plays a lot like the Castlevania games I liked on GBA, which were also excellent.

>>10892449Not that anon, but you can't go wrong with either game. Reshrined is a pseudo-remake. It starts you off with a couple of the levels from the SNES game before branching out into its own thing with new levels and playable characters. It is also much easier than the SNES game, so if you're not great at games like these, you might appreciate that. The SNES original is also very fun, though notably more difficult, and naturally lacks some of the new features they added in Reshrined.
