I liked attitude though, before I got to play no mercy and then I realized it was shit. the controls were awful. have to mention wrestlefest as a good one too! also, saturday night slammasters deserves mention for being a good game, even if its mostly a fighting game. the fire pro series is fine too, but I havent gotten into them in a while. I used to be too focused on fixing their movelists to be more regular and accurate and I got bored with playing it. not because of the movelist, but the strikes and the controls arent that fun

im one of like 3 people that actually finds wwf attitude somewhat playable and even fun once you get the wrestlers moves down. Ive put way more time into it than I probably should and have also messed with the 2 ecw games more than I should also. they are a guilty sort of fun pleasure I enjoy even if they are absolutely not that good until you learn the controls for your wrestler and even than. still tho there is stuff that plays much worse overall.big fan of no mercy and wrestlemania 2000. smackdown 1 & 2 (recently went back to smackdown 1 and been playing as the absolutely lowest ranked wrestlers like gangrel and boss man and so on and its decent enough with cutscenes and whatnot). the ps2 smackdown games are fun in different ways depending on what you want out of it. I still enjoy hctp and would play just bring it but it randomly freezes up on me in cutscenes so its unplayable sadly. there's alot of slop I dont play and stuff I enjoy but dont play that much. Usually when I load a fire pro game its one with andre the giant in it and I just use him in battle royales.

It all started for me with WWF Superstars in the arcade, as it had that Double Dragon engine feel. The Rumble Roses games for the characters. Fire Pro series for its near endless customization.
