What about this one
>>
>>11055216
I've recently realized it's a clone of the NES Ganbare Goemon games but with Kunio combat. Weird but it's true
>>
>>11055228
>that weird granular input for the punches and kicks
It always threw me off but goddamn it was cool, being able to throw jabs, straights, and full on haymakers felt really good once you get a feel for it.
And then you get one of the cracked special moves that lets you fly through the air and drill through dudes, RCRex is a very silly game.

Why does the box art look so much cooler than the actual game?
>>
>>11055264
honestly never played it how different is it?

Why do these highschoolers look like they're 30?

Fewer microplastics in the 80's
>>11055216
Is this game meant to be 30fps or something? It was really choppy when I played it on NSO at my sister's.

Anyone play the X68K version? I heard it's the best

>>11056073
I can see where you're coming from but it's still very different from Goemon. Goemon has a time limit and strictly closed levels.

One of the most overrated retro games online in the 2000s. This game feels more unfinished than Super Pitfall.

It doesn't, but the Euro version does.
>>
>>11055231
It's a GBA game. You have 4 buttons and sel/start.
>>

It really is kinda like Secret of Mana though - gloriously fun and special if you're a kid when you play, but seriously flawed from an adult's perspective. I like both of these games and dislike anons' tendency to endlessly, pointlessly, pathetically whine about this or that being overrated, but this is one of the cases in which "popular thing bad" is somewhat defensible. (I mean obviously it's not bad BECAUSE it's popular though. If it's even bad to begin with, which it isn't. But it could definitely be a lot better than it is.)

> Open world beat-em-up
> RPG elements
> Anime style graphics with expression and soul
> A lot character dialogue and story which most beat-em ups lack
> Also cool small things like naming your character, building his own unique move set over the course of the game

GBA version adds
> Can customizing and chose the visuals of your own character
> Crazy debug mode
> Updated visuals and music for even more soul
> More story and other secrets

It's all top tier

Okay and? What does this have to do with her wanting to change the controls? Are you aware that I dunno maybe they wanted to change one of the four usable buttons to something else? Huh? Did you ever think about that? WELL?! DID YOU?!
