The TL/DR of the changes to Princess Maker in regard to nudity is that there wasn't a CERO or ESRB when it released, just the Ethics Organization of Computer Software, a Japanese industry group like the ESRB which marked PC games 18+ to make it more legit. k I quickly emulated the Switch version of Regeneration just to see it for myself and it's a lot more barebones than I even expected. They basically did nothing other than redraw the ending and vacation graphics. If they had at least redrawn all the graphics, like making a Refine version of Refine, then it might have been worth it, but as it is you might as well just be playing Refine, in fact that's probably better. They added a white flash during combat animations that's pretty annoying, thank goodness I'm not epileptic. Also all of the text seems slightly out of alignment but I guess that could be an emulation issue on my end.At least my old OP strat still works.

My Japanese physical came in. If you ask it to go to the eshop page for the game it actually will take you to the NA store page, so the cartridge is universal. However, you can only claim the gold coins on a Japanese account. There is a patch out already, no notes on what it does.

It seems I've made my daughter too damn hot and now I can't get her to reject the advances of the rich old man. Even though her love for me is maxed out, she's not stressed out and has 400+ morality, she still says yes to him even after several reloads. Although at least she breaks it off immediately when I scold her. I was about to ask if anyone knew where to get the Windows 3.1 version of the game as I've always been curious about it, but turns out it's available on archive.org. With Winevdm it installs and runs easy on Win10.It looks pretty much the same as the DOS version which I guess is to be expected. It's not actually fully voiced though, only the daughter is voiced and it's not the same voice as in Refine. It's a more adult sounding voice like the actress isn't really trying to sound like a kid. I'm guessing it's like this because the voice probably doesn't change when she gets older but I haven't played far enough to check yet.I also wanted to try the Win95 version which can also be found on archive.org, but the disk image appears to be corrupted. I tried it on two separate computers.
