I got used to the gameplay but the it went from tutorial to the hangglider real quick, and that stopped me from progressing as a kid.
It's almost like this game was never called Pac-Man 2 in Japan.

Herro Pakkuman is as much of a non-sequel as the "real" Japanese sequels to Pac-Man that nobody plays.
