Is there any rhyme or reason to doing the throws in this?
In the arcade, throwing was considered rude cuz it often led to friendly fire.

You must be in a very particular position for a throw to activate. You gotta be directly across from the enemy on just the right line, which is why it feels random. There is also an invisible cooldown time between getting a throw and being able to do another throw, with Dazzler having the fastest recovery.
