Do you need to be on drugs to enjoy this game's music?
>>11393042it has mostly good music but maybe not the best choice for a videogame
you need to have the rage of the streets in you, to enjoy it
I always loved the SoR3 OST and I never understood why certain fan games like that SoR Remake tried to 'fix' it by ironing out its 'flaws' and making it sound more conventional. It's not even that experimental in the grand scheme of aleatory electronic music. It almost sounds tame when your ears have gotten used to stuff like Autechre or some of the really wild Aphex Twin material (both great artists to check out if you're a fan of the SoR3 OST).https://youtu.be/SmwW5kBfltk

>>11393042Yes unironically especially if you compare the ost of 3 to 2

>>11393042Yes.>t. on drugs
>>11393042lolno it got mogged hard by picrel
>>11393042lol yet another retarded hate thread for SOR3. This was a good game. The American release has fucked difficulty unfortunately but if you play the Japanese release version which is Bare Knuckle 3 its a fantastic game. Probably the best playing in the series.
https://youtu.be/MNCatreP6K4is in the top 5 songs of the series I think, never really was too sure why people are so bothered by this game's ost
>>11393042Motohiro Kawashima's compositions are great. Yuzo Koshiro went too experimental on this game.
>>11393437Tremendously based. The Poets I might be my favorite Koshiro-penned tune. Love the acid techno vibe.https://youtu.be/6p_kyY7ZUUI

>>11393042My most normgroid opinion is that the music to this game does indeed suck ass.
>>11393925It's an acquired taste.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irXkxYfsBHU
>>11393124Even James' weirdest shit arguably goes somewhere and has the structure of a proper song. A few of the songs on 3 sound perilously close to just being incomplete, like they're loops for loops' sake
>>11393042best music, dub slash is my favorite
>>11393042>Do you need to be on drugs to enjoy this game's music?drugs won't make this music less shit. most tracks are unlistenable.>>11393124>>11394110> be yuzo koshiro> *slamming away at his pc9800 keyboard programming his music driver*> "I have wonderful idea! procedurally generated music for most the soundtrack!"> *takes hit from his japanese bong*> "yep. this is the future. it'll work! no problem!"> > motohiro kawashima! great news! not only will i be taking most of the credit for everything (again) but we'll be using randomly generated sequences for our music! it'll be so great!> *kawashima starts clutching his chest like he's having a heart attack*you just know this actually happened and they both were stuck using a meme inside a perfectly capable audio driver. there's no defense for this soundtrack.
>get too close to enemy>Grab from behind>Dance around from side to side>Get hit by other enemyI know I can throw them but it still gets me many times!
>>11394953> drugs won't make this music less shit. most tracks are unlistenable. It must be said that's impressive how using the Genesis chips they managed to produce such a milkshake of sounds.
>>11393183dude. this shit is vile, wtf
>another thread of autistic guys who actually, genuinely, literally do not understand subjective taste
It has some weird tracks for surehttps://youtu.be/Bwipsyo7jTE?si=uI5STgsR98Cv5n73This sounds like the intro of the Taz-Mania game. But with much better percussion and overall sound.I really like the more monotone techno tracks though.
>>11393124I'm with you 100 percent on this brother. The nerds will just never get it. I still occasionally work out to the SoR3 OST. There's a reconstructed club remix of the entire soundtrack on youtube that is fucking phenomenal.
If you listen to peak japanese techno like ken ishii, takkyu ishino or fumiya tanaka, you will understand sor3
You just have to be not american
