Ok, this is really fucking fun!
Ive been into this game for the past 2 weeks, plenty of soul, the controls feel great and the sound department really did its job with this one.

Playing the PS2 version btw, so, only downside is amount of playable machine feels a little short.

Also, Pinball discussion allowed in this thread.

Funhouse is great, Taxi and Black Knight are excellent.
>>
Try pirating the pc version with all dlc
>>
Pinball Arcade wasn't perfect, but they still did a far better job than Pinball FX.
>>
Awesome game on any platform.

The pinball FX Williams tables destroy the Pibball Arcade versions. Just don't play the 100 other floaty slopball tables.

Taxi is the most fun out of them all.

I pity those who don't have a local bar with a pinball.

Here in Minneapolis: there's a pinball bar with 48 tables, highest tier model when applicable, all well maintained, with technicians onsite to fix them. Then a block away is a dive bar with the same owners and some extra base/mid models go there. a block or two further there's a coffee shop with all eras of pinball in the basement, mostly base/mid. Then a mile south there's an arcade bar with a dozen base modern base model tables, $0.10 tokens if (You) get them on Thursdays, or free for me because people give their extras to the nearest cutie on their way out, and i'm not going to negate the deed by passing them on.

On the other side of town near some other things, there's a taproom that has a few, with a different one on freeplay every Wednesday so i stop there sometimes on the way to a microcinema. And then there's a bunch of lonely tables at some of my other haunts. A house venue i frequent now has a mostly working Pirates of the Caribbean (Stern 2006) in the basement, with only partially working DMD, but it's on freeplay.

In a suburb of Minneapolis called St. Paul:

Can Can Wonderland has several vintage and some modern pinballs, all on freeplay because they charge at the door.

Bad Penny Pinball has 62 tables, and it's in the same building as a rather good vintage video arcade. when i went to the arcade with a group, i left early for a hookup because it turns out i don't like arcade video games much. they're so shallow.

there's another big one in a suburb and one a bit further out but i haven't been yet.

pinball simulators are an alright way to enjoy favorites at home. i paid for Medieval Madness. "Pinball video games" are better though, especially some of the newer ones such as Demon's Tilt, and XENOTILT

Ah yes… the PS2 version, truly a soulful experience of all time. The kind of game that grabs you, shakes you, and says, "This is what you’ve been missing." Controls that feel tighter than a skill shot, and sound design that’s basically an ear massage... chef’s kiss of all time.

But yeah, I get you on the number of machines—feels like they could’ve thrown in a few more, right? Like, c’mon devs, give us the full buffet instead of just the sampler. Still, for what’s there, it’s top-notch pinball goodness.

Pinball discussion allowed, you say? Alright then—what’s your go-to table IRL? For me, it’s gotta be Medieval Madness. Pure chaos. Or if we're talking digital, Pinball Fantasies on DOS will forever hold a special place in my pixelated heart.
