I like ninja reptile, but I also get changing him up. MK ninjas are just cool in that way different colored versions of a cool design are always cool in a primitive brain pleasing kind of way, but as soon as MKII when he got a backstory he was never really a ninja, he was an other dimensional being, so really no reason for him to look just like Sub Zero or Scorp.
