I’m looking for the uncanny, zany, feverish, wacky, and the nightmarish. Primarily from pc games. I’m really addicted to this aesthetic I find it so creatively riveting. So far I really enjoy Harvester, Garage: Bad Dream Adventure, and Armed & Delirious.
Harvester
>>11507965Creature Shock has some really eerie enemies.https://youtu.be/hoNmO2qnViI?si=8SD_vgC9vovRbH3c
>>11507965Kingdom O' Magic
>>11507965The Dark Eye, though the characters in that were actual puppets, only the environments were 3d animatedAlso Labyrinth of Time, very frustrating game though
>>11508092The ONLY game based on Edgar Allan Poe's works. How weird is that?
>>11508156How many Poe stories would lend themselves to video games? He didn't come up with a bunch of gods and monsters like Lovecraft did.
>>11507991Shame that there isn't a full compilation of all the fmvs.Even the death compilation is missing the ones where your body is being put on display and the earth getting swallowed by the alien ship.
>>11507965The guys that made the Horror Tour series?
>>11507965I found Alone in the Dark to be an interesting entry in 3D, considering it was released in 92. Controls worse than resident evil 1 but has a great atmosphere with the giant mansion and all the secrets it holds.
>>11508275Ecstatica 1 and 2 are also similar games.
