It took me way too long to realize Ur was nigh invincible in the second stage of the fight and I was supposed to just make a break for the heart

Imagine him losing and spiting Nerevar and everyone else by purposefully dropping the meteor. Leave it ambiguous whether or not him and Nerevar died. Give some vague ways they could get out of danger.
