I remember, probably over 10 years, there was a speedrun gauntlet. I think it was a /vg/ project? It was it's own site, and it had a list of multiple video video generations. The goal was to have a speedrun competition where the site randomly selected game, and when you beat it, you moved up to the next generation. You did this up to the PS2 generation, I think. Obviously the winner is the person who beat all their games first.Does anyone else remember this? The site is probably down at this point, but wanted to make sure.

>>11508779I remember and found it just by googling "4chan retro games gauntlet" >https://4chanarchives.com/board/vr/thread/2809135The site is, indeed, down but looks like archive.org links work. >https://web.archive.org/web/20170114233552/http://s3kr.it/gauntlet.htmlAlso, pretty sure the website always sucked and had a limited selection it pulled from but it's probably fine for most people.
>>11508789Very true >>11508803I'm sorry, I wasn't aware. >>11508805Yes! That's it exactly! Thank you so much. I really appreciate it! My Google-fu was bad today. Sucks to hear it sucked though, damn. The concept is great, I'll have to see if I can find a better way first.
