I finished the first game and I was pretty drawn in by the somber story and spooky dungeons, now I'm almost finished with the second and holy shit this game's story is cock and balls. The art and graphics are nice but just about everything else is such a letdown . What went so wrong?

The dungeons and battles are really fun. But yeah, the story is pretty uninteresting and told in a boring way.
Then the einherjar's stories were one of the highlights of the first game, while now einherjars are as exciting as finding a new weapon in a chest.
