So... It's Q1 2025.

I paid in full back in October last year.

Did we all just get bamboozled by Analogue?
>>
Fool me once, shame on me.
Fool me twice - won't be fooled again!
>>
Q1 means March 31st. And they will send review units first. Thanks for playing.

I got a $600 mister and would never fall for such an obvious scam
>>

>$600 mister
You got scammed!

I'm excited because of the controller alone, since a traditionally shaped controller that mixes both Nintendo's diamond button layout and SEGA's arcade button layout seems ideal for me, and I've had good experiences with 8BitDo, but Analogue's console? No, seems like a waste of money.
>>
>>11510260
Why didn't you buy a DE-10 Nano?
>>
>>11510589
Shockingly shit opinion. The controller is the worst part. If you plan on using this thing to play N64 games, you'll want a controller that has the stick in the middle, and symmetrical L/R AND Z/R (retrobawler fucks up that part)
>>
>>11510249
Save your self a LOT of money and buy a Brawler64 instead. That's all you really need to enjoy N64 games again.

>wasting legal tender to get the same video quality as raw pixel output from free emulators
lol, lmao, kek even
>>
>>11510615
How come? I literally explained why it appeals to me, it's a controller with both the Nintendo and SEGA buttons layouts into one, my favorite part of the N64's controller, but with a more traditional shape, which I also like, it looks like a great controller to me.

You get what you fucking deserve.

8-bitdon't makes garbage controllers. Enjoy your shit.

You know, after every time retroarch updates and paraLLEl stops working, I'd pay $300 just to have someone pop a libretro maintainer right in the face. Sometimes you just get to an age where money matters less than convenience.

8bitdo have terrible history with analog sticks and the N64 is a bit of a special case. Where everyone else used potentiometers and developers had to learn to greatly limit the analog precision of their inputs, N64 devs tended to plonk the raw values straight into their code and it worked okay with a tight, genuine 3D stick, not so much with a modern replacement. Modern emulators have to do a fair bit of work to make your DS4 or XSX stick feel acceptable in N64 games, you can 100% absolutely guarantee 8bitdo have not done ANY of that work. But with enough complaints they'll likely shove out a firmware update that will kind of fix it in 10 of the most popular games, but people will post those precision charts that show how awful it is for months
>>
>>11510249
Q1 means they have until March 31st to not lie
>>
>>11510664
Yeah but retro fighters has poor quality control it looks like the 8bitdo controller has a better D-pad
>>
>>11510249
>paid
lol look at this fucker spending money haha, you should hoard it instead, retard
>>
>>11511940
Mine works and feels better than a Mint N64 original claw controller.
>>
>>11511940
>has a better D-pad
Aren't we talking about Nintendo 64? If you're worried about using the Dpad to play Killer Instinct Gold than use the original controller.
>>
>>11510249
Q1 hasn't ended yet. but yeah you were probably scammed.
>>
>>11510249
why'd you buy it in the first place? n64 had like 5 games
>>
>>11510856
I'm only excited for the controller.

>>11511141
>>11511435
My experience with 8BitDo has been positive so far though.
>>
>>11510249
For their brand new releases there's generally quite a long period between pre-ordering and them actually shipping the damn things. But they will deliver.

Oh no... what happened to mister troll?
Anyway have you ever seen anyone hold the Nintendo 64 claw controller like this?

>Oh no... what happened to mister troll?
Still here. You reporting me showed what I posted hurt your feelings because deep down you know it to be true. All you do is spam your dicksucking in competing FPGA hardware threads. I open it up, Ctrl+F and type in mister to find you. How much of a sad bastard do you have to do this in everytime. No one cares about your experience, it's fucking boring.

Potentiometers have a greater precision than a perforated gear. You even see this if you pull raw input from a dualshock and n64 controller. The n64 analog has half the precision of the original dualshock.
>>
>>11511428
>paraLLEl stops working
Literally never happened to me
Plus if you hate RetroArch, you can always use Simple64 which also uses paraLLEl
>>
>>11513086
Yet original dualshock feels stiff as shit, while a fresh N64 stick is almost like a mouse.
