Hey retro dudes, I have a quick question - how can I make the official campaign more difficult? I went to the gameplay menu and put the setting on the highest level, but when I came back to the game, there were a few more enemies on the screen, but nothing else changed. Is there another way to make the game harder?

The enemies in chapter 1 and 2 have very poor attack bonuses (BAB) making a sword and board fighter run very easy. If memory serves the giants, ogres, nanamuth etc. In chapter 3 are a bit more challenging.
Better to start HotU with a 15th level character for a proper challenge, or start exploring the thousands of fan made modules.

Yeah, fuck the OC. It's terrible.
Play A Dance with Rogues instead.
