Is it possible to mod a N64 to have both RGB scart and UltraHMDI (or any of the other HDMI mods)?
>>11512782yes
>>11512904okay, thanks
>>11512782>Is it possible to mod a N64 to have both RGB scart and UltraHMDIWhy? Why not just a converter?
>>11512782Why? Has no games

>>11512939idiot, that wont give better signal
>>11512782If it's an earlier model N64 it also does RGB processing, you just need an amplifier circuit because the signals are too weak to output directly to a TV.There was more advanced RGB mods but those required a lot more soldering to install and would interfere with HDMI mods. The later HDMI mods fixed this by having them do both RGB and HDMI.However, the current HDMI mods again don't support RGB anymore because the chips to enable that are now expensive or no longer being made or they just felt like it or some BS like that.So for current HDMI mods (It's hard to get your hands on the older ones are they aren't made anymore) they only do HDMI, but you can still go the RGB amplifier route too to get RGB out of it as well if you have an earlier model N64.
