I think most people just watch a gameplay video of picrel and decide it's an underrated gem that way. I understand why they'd think that solely based off of videos though. It has great graphics, the music is great, and the gameplay looks fun. But the controls and difficulty (which is unfair for even arcade standards) make it incredibly frustrating. Maybe it's better on real hardware with a trackball, but the game didn't require one at all. The trackball is just a handicap for the player so they could milk 100 yen coins out of them. 6/10

I've played this on original hardware with a trackball and I found it very underwhelming. The lack of enemies makes it feel very lifeless.
