>>
Existing as a 0-year old baby.

Playing SNES (didn't get 64 until 1998)
>>
>>11515523
>that quip about having your SNES and N64 connected to the same TV
>>
>>11515523
I screamed at the top of my lungs every night until my mother would let me sleep with her.
>>
Drinking formula
>>
>>11515523
Probably drinking peach juice while holding my mum's hand because I was six and didn't even have a single video game console yet. We were just walking outside, every day was a new place. Good times.
>>
>>11515523
I was buying my N64 with SM64. Still have the box.
>>
Pontificating life eith a subtle "goo" and a profound "gaa" here and there.
>>
>>11515523
Sitting in 8th grade English class. The teacher that day wore a Mario shirt he got from preordering an N64 at Toys R Us. I came home hoping my dad would surprise me with one, but he didn't.
>>
Playing my older brother's PS1. I wasn't a huge fan of PS stuff (especially in 1996) but my relict 486DX2 was good at nothing by that point, so it's not like I could be picky.
>>
>>11515523
not being born for another 2 years

>>11515523
Probably in 1st grade. My cousin would get his N64 a month later for his birthday at Amazing Castles, but I wouldn't get my first 3D console (Playstation) til Christmas of 1998. I was still happy and content with my SNES.
>>
I was playing the best console ever, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
>>
>>11515523
I didn’t own a video game console yet. I’d get a PlayStation in 1997 with a copy of Disney’s Hercules.
I was obsessed with the power rangers in 1996.
>>
>>11515523
Playing Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. I ended up getting an n64 for christmas but I did play it before then in October. I only played Pilot Wings 64 and thought it sucked bad. 64 was the first 5th gen console I got, PlayStation came the next year and it saw a lot more action. Saturn also that same year.

What struck me most about playstation games is how much more they felt like genesis and super nintendo games, snappier, brighter and more fun to play unlike n64 games which were sluggish and clunky.
>>
I have no fucking idea. If I had an N64, then either playing SM64 or Turok.
>>
>>11515523
Being a yuropoor I was eagerly awaiting release, which took another half a year.
But in April 1997 I became the proud owner of one and played the shit out of SM64 and Pilotwings.
>>
>>11515523
playing outside
>>
>>11516098
26 years old
>>
>>11515523
Playing Mario 64 at the kiosk at Sears while my dad would get pissed and say "we're not here to play video games."
>>
>>11515523
Playing this in kindergarten, completely unaware of the SNES/Genesis war and having a good time with all the games I could rent from blockbuster since getting a genesis in 1992.
>>
>>11515523
I was -9 when this console came out :D
>>
>>11515523
Another nostalgiaslop thread.
>>
I was sat at home playing Playstation when Shigeru ring

'N64 demo kiosks are live at Toys r US'

>>
>>11515523

>>
I fucking hate you people
>>
>>11517431
>people talking about retro times on the retro board! Fuck!!!
>>
>>11515523
Probably watching this every single day and playing my gameboy because I was always a generation behind as a kid

https://youtu.be/lGONmVV2gi8?si=Gitj_iXzQsIQlsa_
>>
>>11515523
Playing my families new N64 and trying to ignore the sinking feeling that Mario 64 just simply isn't as good as SMW
>>
>sept 1996
I finished FF6 in the summer of 1996, so I probably was bouncing between different games I played before. Playing Twisted Metal and Warhawk at my friends house on his fancy new PS1, playing SMW, Zelda:ALttP, and The Lone Ranger on my SNES and NES at home, playing Colonization, SimCity, Police Quest VGA remake, and Commander Keen 4 on my 486 DOS PC.
>>
Ummmm…so this board is literally filled with zoomers now?

Learning to read and do basic math. I still remember the way the N64 box looked vividly; it would always be behind glass or on a high-up shelf, taunting me, until that fateful day in 1998 when Pops brought home Mayrio64
>>
>>11517658
Behind glass or on a high shelf at the store, I mean (I never learned how to write)

>>

master race millennials such as myself try to bully the zoomers as much as we can, but we keep losing ground. the people I really feel bad for are the gen x 2d boomers because theyre a niche at this point.
