>>11517902I'd like to, it looks like my type of game.An anon posted a guide with translations but I'm hoping for a proper game translation someday
>>11517902I played the first hour and stopped because I didn't like it at all.Obviously I can't give the game a fair assessment because I only played through the introduction, but if you're waiting for this to be translated, my recommendation is to lower your expectations way, waaaaay down. The atmosphere is impressive but the amount of dialogue really pulled me out of it. And I generally like RPGs that have lots and lots of dialogue; I love Super Robot Taisen, Utawarerumono etc.But in those games the dialogue is coming from characters. In Nemuru Mayu it's just coming from these formless spirits you can't comprehend who talk to you in Banjo Kazooie-speak. I found it completely uncompelling.I don't think it just my taste because I wanted to like it and I've liked this type of game before. A couple years ago I played through a different Japanese indie first person dungeon crawler called 雪道 by ポーン and it had me completely gripped. I couldn't put it down, I beat the whole game in one sitting. Nemuru Mayu did not make me feel the same way and I couldn't justify giving it more time over my other RPG projects.I'm sure some people will love it; like I said I only played a little. Maybe it gets way better twenty hours in, I wouldn't know.I just don't think it's a good idea to get your hopes up and expect some hidden 10/10 masterpiece. I don't know what it is but I'm pretty sure it isn't that.
I have played through all of it and rate it a 9/10 masterpiece.
