where did you get your library from? im staring at the gargantuan task of trying to build a semi-complete en/jp (and other one language releases like weirdo eu only trash)+ archive of the 6th gen and associated handhelds, while having to manually parse a myrient linkgrab, does anyone know a faster or more convenient way to get a single good copy of every title for those platforms? DS/i eshop, Wii eshop, 3DS eshop incl
>>11518498My dad. Not a lot of titles since we're poorfags. There's a secondhand store here that I haven't visited in over a decade. I imagine they charge "ebay prices" nowadays.
I used google.com
>>11518498It sounds like you're looking for complete roms sets. Just grab them from Archive using jdownloader2.
>>11518551pmuch just every one i find is a collection of SKUs not titles yknow? so its like 4TB of bloat
>>11518498i grab the individual roms/isos/chuds/hacks as i want themall dumped from my own legitimate copies stored in the closet next to me in the same room, of course ;)
>>11518680of course ;)this is the cleanest method, but my most nostalgic memories of vidya are what i discovered clicking around uncs emulator list
my library consists of the games I bought and had bought for me while growing up, which is why i laugh at people who have to pay more than the $20 I paid for Silent Hill 2 or 3.
>>11518498Defunct brick & mortar shops.
>>11518690i also sometimes discover games at a vintage game/toy shop that prices everything to move, lower than pricecharting. if a store has employees, you're paying too much.sometimes i pick one up, but mostly just obscure action figures such as Prune Face from Return of the Jedi
The very last video game I got was in... 2019 I think? Can't be sure. It was Magical Quest 1 on SNES, surprise find at the thrift shop.
