Anons who pretend to speak Japanese, can you tell me what the name Chamoro (チャモロ) is meant to mean? It doesn't sound like a common Japanese name. His town is named after Ghent, which is a popular tourist location in Belgium because of its many historical churches, he is a priest/monk, in the remake he is named Nevan which is Irish (or something) for "saint", but "Chamoro" to the best of my knowledge is the name of some random island people in Guam. What's the connection between the chamoro people, Ghent, and the priesthood?

Cha = OchaMoro = TomorrowOcha-Tomorrow
The chamorro people are catholic.
>>11519158I don't know the game so I maybe there's a pattern to the names, but in Spanish, chamorro means "one with a shaved head".In Japan, Buddhist priests proverbially shave their head, so that could be the reason.Is the character bald under the hat?As for Ghent I don't know, having historical churches is not very unique for an old European city.>>11519178>I've been living in Japan for 9 years and have a good handle on the subtleties of the language...
