Anyway, I finally watched a clip and it was a massive space battle with a pop idol singing a syrupy ballad over it with images of her superimposed over the battle and when she'd gesture as part of her performance, ships would unleash a barrage of missiles. This is interspersed with a few scenes of horrific violence...in other words it sounds kino and possibly the most "anime" thing ever.
