How do you guys play mid-90s Windows games? On Windows 11, I've found middling success with VirtualBox. Best I got was on Windows 98, the system runs well and plays old games for about 10 minutes the crashes every time. I'm looking for something that just works. And running compatibility mode does nothing but tells me the program will not run on Windows 11.

Use 86box. If you can't achieve full speed with it then try PCem. Some games might only need minor tweaks to get them to run on modern hardware, for those check for their page on pcgamingwiki.
