I've stopped needing flashlight mods as much with GZDoom since I learned the r_visibility command which lets me replicate Nugget's brightness settings - (that setting made Nugget my favorite sourceport for a year). Usually just setting it between 15-30 will make the map both look good and be bright enough I can actually play it if visibility is a problem.

Any anons having some odd, mostly performance issues with Call of the Void? Seems like it hitches a little or things aren't playing at 60 FPS sometimes, and a few of the new monsters don't play their alert/pre-attack sounds. Getting gangbanged by those gladiator-ogres because I didn't see or hear them is fun.Issues aside, I think I'm enjoying it. Haven't gotten through much of it yet Ithink, though some of the fights seem a little psychotic in a pretty Doom way. Don't think most would disagree that the entire image could use a refresh, it's a product from 2017 - but most of these efforts to remake it obviously aren't going to end well when there's been an actor wanting to bruteforce a mod in there for over a year now. Which ironically, does not actually modernize the image in any capacity.
