G-Police fucking rocks and I won't hear otherwise. The PC version is arguably superior to the playstation version. That said I suspect G-Police is the first console game to have a graphics setting menu.
>>12336935>dude, alcohol, lmao
>>12337036The 90s were a different time
Aaaaaand that's all for this week - I'll be back on Monday with more OPM UK.
>>12337040>next month>rage racerI'm convinced you can't actually win the race in the demo as there just aren't enough laps to get 1st.
>>12337009Based Vandal Hearts enjoyer
>>12336998quite addictive game, 2d puzzles are high quaility.
>>12336830>gpolice on the frontpageI will now buy your magazineFor real though, criminally underrated game. Sequel sucked though.
>>12338840Same here, I loved playing it in my friend's house in the 90s.
>>12336862SPOILER THIS
>>12338976What are you, a woman?
>>12338982Do you like, not understand how terrible it is to have arachnophobia? I just literally had a panic attack.
>>12338840The "simplified" controls for weapons of just make doing long distance bombardment impossible which rustled my jimmies. The ability to manually pick your lock on target in the first game is fantastic for taking on the huge gunboats.
>>12336864>producer for SCEE, Richard Milner (right)Thanks, I wouldnt have known otherwise.
>>12336837so it was from 1997 onwards when magazines started to get more ADS pages, nitce to pinpoint that time.
>>12338984Filtered from life
>>12343112Agen armstrong is quite an overlooked game as it has a great style. Then again it "suffers" from being effectively a 2D sidescroller and that was really uncool by 1997.
>>12343157Holy fuck rosco. I've got the disc only of this (gifted by a friend who didn't know how to look after their shit). Fun little game for what it is.
>all these ads for trash-itThe game is pretty obscure all told and not that great anyway.
>>12343254There is a fascinating technical talk on the physics of rally cross. Amusing to see only like 3 people in the audience.>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwbwFdWBkU0
>>12343269>>12343270MM V3 on the highest difficulty races is bullshit hard, You have to basically be psychic.
That's all for today - I'll have a new thread for you tomorrow
>>12343281G N U T E R R Y P R A T C H E T T
>>12343258So rally cross or v-rally which one is better?
>>12343860For driving into a tree and dying, v-rally. Rally cross is much like the name says, rally cross which is a different discipline.
>>12336862was a nice playable demo of this, I believe it was on the same demo CD as Exhumed and Smash Court Tennis
>>12336934kek, I remember this drunk review
>>12337008I agree, that redraw distance tho.. I would love a remake, it's a great concept for a sci fi chopper game.
>>12344043I'll take GOG getting the rights and throwing dgvoodoo2 at it or something to make it easy to run (even better if someone could do a Hor+ widescreen patch/hack as the game is Vert-). While the game was clearly never meant for high framerates i've found in the pc version you can push it to about 100fps before it starts really getting unhappy. The PSX version is actually the first game I played with using a dualshock which I got years later. Such a better experience over using the digital pad. Also: iirc the wipeout footage in this webm is exclusive to the pc version whereas the psx version just had static image ads that would rotate every few seconds or so.
>>12343198totally true, that game is amazing.
>>12343282I remember seeing these in other magazines, like Gamestation.
>>12344124Like this for example?
