If you plug a USB-C to USB-C cable into it it gives the device fast charging voltage when it can't accept that, but since it doesn't step down the voltage it causes damage to the battery if kept plugged in for too long. It's best to use USB-A to USB-C on these things to be safe, and if you have that you can plug it into basically anything since the cable will regulate that since it can't even provide that fast charge voltage even if it's available.This is more of an issue with the cheaper devices and older devices. The newer ones and more expensive ones seem to have realized this is a problem. The SD cards are worthless though, immediately bin them. Their roms aren't even the properly hashed ones, are usually ones from decades ago, and the card is going to fail in a few months of ownership. Just curate your own collection and figure out what OS you want to use, don't be lazy.
