I've been using a PSP for emulating older systems for several years and a PC for anything which couldn't run on it but have been looking into buying a new handheld but I'm torn between several options.There's the Retroid Pocket 6 or the G2, the Thor, and there's the Konkr. After shipping (and the insurance retroid charges you for) they are all between 250 and 300 dollars so I'm not sure which to get.

I made a good decision by buying the G2 and not the Thor.

For PS2 stick with Aethersx2 v3668 or Nethersx2-classic, the other version has some kind of regression on T820 device. Default setting 1.5x & Vulcan that alone will let you play a lot of games. If it's not playable just tweak some setting. Gamecube is more straightforward get standalone dolphin 2x resolution is your default and if it can't run go 1x with VBI Skip.

The biggest issue of the bottom one seems to be the thickness. They also haven't shown the connection between the upper and the lower and how well protected it is. That flat cable was the main failure point of Xperia Play.
