I'm still loving my Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and IPEGA PG9083s setup, it's not much, but for the price I payed for both it's great, the tablet doesn't run anything past PS1 too good, but does PS1 mostly fine, and the controller doesn't have the best directional pad, but again it's fine considering it was dirt cheap. I'm playing through Jackie Chan: Stuntmaster on PS1 and I was surprised at how fun it was, currently area #3 of 5 total, I plan on beating it. PS1 really is the limit for my setup though.

Depends on what you intend to play on it. It's fine for DC, N64, PS1 and some GC.
But beyond that it's not really good. The 4:3 aspect ratio makes PSP games kind of look like ass. Same with NDS, it's only good in games which require only a single screen. It's not really capable of running PS2, 3DS and especially Switch. So, if you were planning on good GC, PS2 and 3DS performance then you'd need a more powerful chipset.
