i guess they forgot the target audience for this game was 7 year old girls because it's really way too hard, not to mention rather creepy (one of the bosses is some disembodied clothes that attack you?). the bottom line is this is just more cheap crap from Hi Tech Expressions.

it was developed by Imagineering so you get what you expected. Barbie games anyway are about the most cynical shovelware you can ever imagine since it's not as if the target audience is going to know any better anyway.

it means Nintendo got paid and the game won't set your console on fire, it doesn't mean it's actually good or anything
>>
The Gameboy Barbie game was slightly better, note I said slightly.

It happens that the first Barbie vidya ever made was by Epyx, for the C64 although it's mostly just a vehicle for some speech synthesizer gimmick they used.

Out of curiosity, I looked into what the various Barbie games were about some time ago. It seems the best ones were released for computers. GBA also got some good games, like a platformer where you swapped characters to solve little puzzles. On the other hand, I have a hard time imagining what a good Barbie game for the NES would be like. Perhaps an easy platformer with a minigame where you can dress Barbie up however you want?

I guess Imagineering had a hard time imagining it too, ironic given their name.

At least Capcom with The Little Mermaid respected the idea that it was aimed at 7-10 year old girls and didn't make it too hard, creepy, etc.
>>
>>12559430
That's also because they were Capcom, not Imagineering.

Then why do people really make dumb threads dedicated to a specific random NES game no one gives a shit about otherwise? And the OP text always feels like some tweet from some random faggy twitter account trying to summarize every NES game. Why not just make an NES/Famicom general at this point?

>And the OP text always feels like some tweet from some random faggy twitter account trying to
wait how would you know what a Twitter account reads like unless you've been reading Twitter, in which case get out.
>>
>>12559485
Everyone posts twitter screencap shit on 4chan anyways.
>>
>>12559356
You're right, OP. This is shit and I should play something I'll actually enjoy like Manic Miner or Dizzy instead.
