Hey can anyone share a link to the MGS2 source leak? The og thread is down and I'd check Myrient but thats not an option now unfortunately.

Just to show good will here is that Konami script leak that appeared on HG101 years ago but has been practically scrubbed from the web as far as I know. The archive has the scripts for Ghost Babel, MGS2, Hybrid Heaven, Azure Dreams and Shadow of Destiny (also included the HG101 interview with the english translator of MGS2 Agness Kaku - its been scrubbed also, I assume because she really tears Kojima a new asshole)

Nah they were posted by different anons after the leak, mgs2-vs2026-fix.zip is at https://gofile.io/d/t20K7Z

afaik the patches in there are enough to fix it to build game exe + assettool in vs2026, so not sure if anything else is needed, they're a bit messed up tho and need the commands in that pastebin to patch properly

You'd also need to activate the devkits which in itself is a pain in the ass process.
You may also need to alter how things are done if it's a specific age of devkit since theres different pre-final models that look final but definitely are not. Plus the firmware with these things being what it is too doesn't make it any easier.

I'm still unable to get it to build without errors. looks like a lot of linking errors. Just to be clear in the readme.txt it says "- nuke bp\Source\ExtLibraries\Boost\ folder" Do I actually want to remove the contents in that folder?

Deleted and started from scratch again.
Yeah I already have the Builds\DiskBuilds UseDiskBuild.h file with #define BP_TGS_DEMO() 0 but just to make sure,I will go over the process once more.
I have a feeling this step is my issue.

think the vs2026 patch files should have removed hash_map usage, maybe check if it patched that cpp correctly
