I prefer Untold 2 but I started with vanilla 2 and loved the series but I suppose 4 or 3 are better starting points. Just don't play Nexus until you have played 4 at least two times.

>>3485852Untold story modes are really shit and tedious, and I can usually tolerate lengthy stories in JRPGs, but in EO it just doesn't add anything + changing your class lineup in story mode is a bit cumbersome since you have to reclass the existing membersSo while I recommend classic for both Untolds, 1 has a bit of a shitty EXP curve because some storymode exclusive dungeons will be cut, there's a patch to fix that though if you're on a modded 3DS or emulating
