Xenosaga I played on an emulator though and back then some of the save stations would cause episode 1 to crash and sometimes the beach of nothingness scenes wouldn't play, that was several years ago so I'm sure it's fixed with newer PCSX2 builds.On the matter of getting into, the xenosaga games have a lot of terminology and the pacing of the amount of information that's thrown at you is off because it had a very rocky development cycle, in some cases it's just stuff being vomited out. Gameplay wise it's a hallway simulator and lacks the town/dungeon/overworld exploration present in gears.

>>3550926I don't think Saga is easier or harder than gears, I had a REALLY bad core team (no Jr., I got tricked into thinking Chaos would get more support stuff later because he starts with an AoE heal, had Ziggy in my core party and he's shit in XS1) so I struggled sometimes but if I didn't have a fucked up team comp the game would be fairly easy, something like shion/momo, jr., and kos-mos/chaos
