It's worth playing. I just want to say, cause tons of the reviews on Steam are like "brooo dude wtf did I just weed", the concept behind this game is straightforward and not intimidating. It's simply a deconstruction/parody of jrpgs with a surrealist setting. Everything in the typical jrpg experience is condensed into about 5 hours. You get the grinding for gold/equipment, vehicle progression that let you explore the world map, a big dungeon, several dramatic boss showdowns, a bunch of optional stuff. It kinda feels like if a jrpg was front-loaded with the entire grind in the first 2 hours, so that you could imagine another 30 of the same thing, but instead you get fast tracked into the endgame without really realizing it until it's over.

Yep pretty much. Gibby is a tyrant. Get a group together and go beat him.Hylics 2 is similarly a very straightforward premise. Gibby's minions work to reconstitute their master. But you get to explore a lot more of Mason's art and the music is great.
I got this gamerino but got my ass whooped (i was playing drunk) any tips for another run?

I have no idea what the fuck this is since you couldn't be bothered to include a descriptive thread title or mention what it is in your post or include a useful image, but it looks bad anyway
>>3556426never heard about Hylics?
>>3556429>never heard about Hylics? No I have not, outside of Brave New World
>>3556437check it out its original at least
>>3555045I've tried some early fights, and they're absolutely brutal. I had to dodge the enemies in the substation (where you get Mystic Meat, IIRC), since they would obliterate me, and decided to run away after getting the ability.
