>RPGs where you think
>"fuck yeah this is so comfy fuck real life and shit"
For me it's Ultima IX and Baldurs Gate 1.

- Witcher 1 is for me, the comfiest game of all time. Especially the fields.
- Baldurs Gate 1 ranks up very highly, especially the original.
- Dark Souls 2 Things Betwixed and Majula are super comfy
- Archolos' village of Silbach is probably the most well done town in any game ever. Could write a thread about it alone, how well it makes sense and how it immersed me into Archolos. That makes it very comfy.

For some reason nothing else comes to mind at the moment but there must be many games that Im forgetting.
>>
Look at how atrociously bad all your threads are.
>>
Also notrpg BUT I HAVE to mention old Harry Potter games.

When I was a kid, escaping reality into a fantasy world of wizards and spells and that sort of stuff was probably my juiciest form of escapism. I longed for that a lot, which is why I loved Harry Potter.

Those old games (coupled with some nostalgia) are extremely comfy for me personally. (PS 2 era artistic direction of games in general)

Icewind Dale is very comfy.
Heart of Winter is probably the comfiest.

I feel like we need more exploration of comfy aspects of taverns and camping. Resting, food and drinks.
Probably some japanese westboo studio is going to do it first, given their food autism.
>>
>>3655065
Could be very comfy if the end of each chapter was marked by the party resting in a comfy inn after days/weeks of sleeping on the road.

mfw will never again be a teenager in Alaska sleeping with the window open during the comfy winter months and playing this .mp3 on repeat

Yep. If you can’t vibe to your level 2 party tromping through the woods at the start of a grand adventure, shooting hobgoblins with a bow with the soundtrack playing, I would question your melanin levels

Crescent Quest for sure, very comfy

Paper Mario 64

Try Bug Fables after that.

borderlands 2/3. it has levels, skill trees, character classes, and gear: it's an rpg deal with it. that said, tiny tina's was NOT comfy. seriously i can't remember the last time i played a comfy open world rpg otherwise. ultima 9 was comfy af but it will never be on steam so i shan't be playing it again. oh wait last open world rpg i played was dragon's dogma and it was kinda comfy despite having to play using a fucking game pad. trying to aim a bow using that stupid joystick on the ps5 type controller is really shit.

Skyrim is the comfiest RPG of all time
>>
>>3655044
unironically Skyrim

DQ 8 and 9. Comfy is usually a function of atmosphere and soundtrack, and 8 nails the fun of just randomly running around in a forest with your bros (and big titty older sister.)

The Witcher 1, fields area. It has a mod on the screenshot. Screenshots alone dont do justice to its ambience.

TES 3-5 are the ultimate comfy & relax games for me. There's so many things to do at your own pace. Getting tired and don't want to do a dungeon? Gather ingredients for a while, or hang around in town, and call it a night.

Hey king sorry to ask this lame question but i really really want to read your definition of what is RPG? i always read your posts and i like them and find the informative, not kidding i really do.
But i dont ever recall reading your definition of RPG, it must be interesting to read, so can you please write that for me?

If troons were comfy, then they wouldn’t be troons. Comfy is the anti-troon.

>letting trannies appropriate words inside your head from before trannies existed
i bet you think of gay people when you see a rainbow in the sky after it rains
>>
>>3658516
They did that on purpose, because the rainbow was the symbol of Gods covenant with Noah to never purge the world of faggots by flooding it again. It’s mocking God.
Also look at how many colors are on the homo flag. Seven like ROY G BIV right? Nope, (((six)))

Travel to a new town, waiting for the shop to open, go downstairs and have a drink then play dice for most of the night. Rip off the locals with my loaded dice.
