What's the synopses for the story? I have had no desire to play a russian post apoc after ATOM rpg. The complete slew of what felt like constant talk about communism and marxist leaders etc. bored the hell out of me.

ACT I
You're a peasant (i guess the tribal was already atken) whose family was enslaved. You embark on the journey to find and free your relatives. You leave the extremely gated community and discover the world beyond, shaking it in the process.
ACT II
After freeing your dudes, you've already discovered all major powers. Community's council of elders decides that the villa (your home) need to briefly engage in local politics. You're given quests to make sure you will never be enslaved again, and to find a patron, chooseable from BoS or Arizona Rangers.

Plenty of choices, including one where you literally nuke every civilised settlement (so two total) and kill just about everyone. Every choice and combination of choices I could come up with was mentioned in ending slides.
There's even a separate slide if you kill every faction, then kill your entire villa - a thing impossible in F1 and F2, where it would just fade to black.

playing Trudograd right now and it's the opposite
even quest structure is weird as fuck, pick up quests and the game tries to shove me off to furthest parts of the city right from the start
game doesn't really give you an indication that you need to dedicate yourself to one faction or if there even are factions
perk changes are also weird, there is very little point in dipping into another weapon discipline since none of it gives any benefits in general, some of the perks are outright redundant and ask for 7 points, armor perks flat out don't benefit power armor
only 2 companions can be in your squad the two mutually exclusive ones are fucking terrible (girl has 4 STR lol, anything heavier than pistol and she is gimped, guy has no action points)
game is also a whole lot shorter
trudograd is alright but definitely ran out of steam
