I'm curious. For those who actually played the game instead of just getting mad about it in advance, what was the point that made you quit?

For me it was when you return to Solas' ritual site. The first thing that happens is some elves tell you that the mage elf is lost somewhere and you have to find her, and then you find her after walking maybe 15 feet straight ahead and winning a single fight. Then, almost immediately after that, you find a bridge mechanism and the mage elf is like we should look for a power source to turn it on, and the power source is literally laying three feet next to the device. It's practically in the middle of your screen when she says you need to look for it (also there's no "pick up the power source" animation so it just floats awkwardly next to you). The game already felt like a thinly veiled hallway simulator before that, but those moments convinced me that the designers were never even trying.
