i'm actually playing ds1 for the first time right nowpart through day 4. think i've gotten the hang of team building, but it's hard to know which physical attacks on atsuro's team to go for since they both cost hp and weaken with hp lost. movement abilities are way more important than i initially assumed since this game fucking loves battles where you have to save some moron that starts off surrounded by a dozen enemies on the opposite side of the mapi was thinking of going yuzu's route first since i heard it's pretty cool despite being a bad ending, but idk if it's worth.

in the original I saved at the route split then played each route. You only get one save file and one in-battle save, so it's a bit inconvenient, but far better than playing NG+. In ng+ you're overpowered so the battles are no fun.

And the SMTV games aren't BAD exactly, I actually really enjoyed them, lots of good fanservice for long time fans, but...yeah, DeSu1 was something special. Even by the 3DS version they had already "lost it", they took the teeth out of the endings with the new content.
