10/10 for heart; the dude has a heart of gold. 9/10 for proficiencies; dual-wielding bonkers with a 2hander for poke is patrician-tier. A halberd user would've been nice, but a sword suits him. Mace is an excellent proficiency because there is little chance for conflict in the party and it gives him the opportunity to tank vampires (his favored enemy) with protection from level drain. CG means he doesn't have a problem swiping the ore to upgrade the mace for kicking evil's butt. 10/10 for banter; always taking the high road, this Minsc. The only character who can shut down Jan when he gets uppity. 10/10 for tactics; stealth-surprise tard rage in the middle of a pack of enemies is a damn good ace up the sleeve. Capable of anything. Truly the most versatile warrior in the cast. 10/10 for cheese; kill off all the mephit portals except the first in Chateau Irenicus, set a pause when low on HP, give him the Sword of Chaos, pit him in the doorway alone and let him rip through mephits while you AFK. Or watch him bolster your forces by the carcass load. Overall a 9/10 unit. 10/10 with Keldorn in the party to jedi master him into weaponizing his tard rage. Absolutely perfect companion coming straight out of the gate. The dude doesn't even need your help. You need his.

You lose all your gold and only a couple items transfer over, and if you don't transfer in you mostly get the best ones anyway.

With all the autism about Baldur's Gate 3, I have this question that I've wanted to ask in earnest. Is most of the hatred towards it due to the GAY COMMUNITY.ogg stuff? If the game only had gay romance for the player character, and instead of the bear scene, you could bang a naga/lamia or a 50ft woman, would there be less contrarians? Personally, I think BG3 is a solid game, like a 7 or an 8 out of 10. Skyrim was a game that was praised to high heaven back in the day and I never understood that. I at least enjoy BG3.
