- FR was always a bit silly.
- BG2 has a rather standard story.

Fucking hell, FR in BG3 is not even fantasy anymore. It's closer to Marvel Capeshit + Californian Cosplayers Larping.
And while smaller stuff written in BG3 can be good, the main plot is an amazing mess.

Good. DnD always was capeshit but fantasy with retard scaling. After level 5 you gain abilities that put many capeshit heroes to shame so it's best to embrace that kind of storytelling rather than pretend we are playing gritty dark fantasy.

eh? It never felt natural, like stumbling upon some monsters while adventuring and dungeon diving. They were all theatrical setpieces. Add the turd-based combat and the facade of organical gameplay falls off completely, because the actors just stand around 95% of the time.
