Is there any RPG about zombies?
>>3693385dead island?
>>3693385No. It's never happened.
>>3693437again, how is that RPG?>>3693439there are zombie motives but not zombie RPG per se
>>3693385>Dead stateThe only good rpg about zombies i know but it's rather buggy, endgame is meh and endings are just wall of text on picture(Writer of vtmb made this one btw)>Urban strifeHopeless garbage in eaLooked promising on paper but devs cant afford real writer and artist(they switched to ai slopma after demo) everything about looting sucks, map is linearCombat system is pretty good in it tho>Dead age seriesJunk rpgsBut i had some fun with itNext part is supposedly going to have mappainting autism in it alongside rpg part
>>3693480thanks for solid reply, never heard about any of these games desu senpai THE most zombie RPG section that comes to my mind would be PS:T with Silent King saga or BG2 cementary district
State of Decay 1 and 2 might count, but thats very loosely an RPG, is more like making GTA about zombies, give it stats and relatively better stealth mechanics (not really a highbar), give it base building mechanics that is suprisingly simple despite the amount of info dump laying around, and give it some special infected to throw you off a little bit if you are unprepared.I quite liked it, especially SoDs 1 expansion Lifeline. There is very few games where you actually get to play the military againest zombies and not get instantly folded, at least as long as you are around. The other ones that i know of with this might be dogshit, be a mod to some other game thats very buggy, or some obscure minigame.Still, calling this an RPG would be like saying that GTA Online might count as an RPG, except this is mostly a single player game (except 2, it actually can be played in co-op, but its mostly dogshit).

Why would you want an RPG where you just fight one creature the whole game?
>>3693600Your lack of imagination is astonishing
>>3693480>Urban strifewas quite disappointed in how shit the EA version was
>>3693600>>3693631Nah, that Anon has a point. This was pretty much one of the issues with Dead State. There is barely only zombies, humans, and dogs.Thats it.Managing zombies ended up becoming a hassle, because due to the gameplay mechanics it was much safer to fight them 1 each, meaning that you would have to spent a whole turn just baiting a zombie, kill him, wait until ALL the zombies and other entities in the map had their turn, only for you to end it after all of them skipped their turn because you engaged only a single zombie.Dogs were practically zombies, but with much more distance.Humans barely had some variety on how they looked and how armored were they, but thats about it. If they can shoot, they will shot. If they have melee is because they suck.To little variety and it gets old .

There's a JRPG called Raging Bytes that's really just an adaptation it the Romero Dead films. It's fun for what it is.
